Bradley Cooper is a serious Air Jordan guy. He’s got the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High OG. He’s got the Air Jordan 4 ‘Taupe Haze.’ And, at the end of last year, he also picked up the Air Jordan 4 ‘Wet Cement.’ Basically, if it’s got a big, shiny Jumpman logo on it, he wants in.
But yesterday, while sipping on some healthy green juice in New York City, the Oscar-nominated actor and filmmaker was spotted in a pair of Salomons. Not the Salomon sneakers you’ve seen in every bar since 2019 though. Instead, Cooper was rocking a pair of genuine hiking boots worn by genuine hikers.

Dubbed the X Ultra 4 Mid GTX, the silhouette was first introduced back in 2021, but has thankfully yet to find an audience among the GRWM TikTok crowd. Cooper’s pair was the slick ‘Black Magnet’ colorway. The boots come fitted with all kinds of serious tech, like an ADV-C chassis for extra support and a Contagrip MA outsole for better grip. It’s also wrapped in Gore-Tex so your feet can stay nice and dry when you’re exploring the great outdoors.
The Maestro star isn’t the only recent Salomon convert. Last October, Timothée Chalamet was spotted in some all-black XA Pro 3D V9s while filming Marty Supreme. And earlier this year, Robert Pattinson, who’s usually more of an Adidas man, also rocked some Jungle Ultra Lows during a press conference for Mickey 17.
And sure, fair play. Salomons are known for their insane levels of comfort, and when you’re a very famous actor used to working very long hours, that’s always a plus. The best bit, though? Bradley Cooper’s Salomon X Ultra 4 Mid GTXs are still in stock right now for a very reasonable $175.
