Daniel Craig Just Debuted an Unreleased Omega Watch with James Bond Pedigree

2024 was the year of the Olympics in Paris, England nearly bringing football home, and Brat, but it was also the year that Daniel Craig debuted a wild style rebrand, floppy art-dealer-esque bangs and all. His hair got longer, his trousers got baggier, and he starred alongside Drew Starkey in one of the most hotly anticipated films of the year: Luca Guadagnino’s Queer. One thing, however, has remained consistent: an Omega watch is always strapped to Craig’s wrist. And at Sunday’s Governors Awards in LA, he yet took another unreleased timepiece out for a spin.

Craig’s last outing as James Bond was in 2021’s No Time To Die. On Sunday night, however, in his double-breasted Loewe tuxedo and killer one-of-a-kind mystery timepiece, he still looked every inch the part of the ultra-suave superspy. Craig appeared to be wearing an unreleased gold Seamaster Diver 300, with a sexy burgundy bezel, black dial, and mega stylish Milanese bracelet. Coincidentally, the Seamaster Diver 300 was the model chosen for a 007 collab piece in 2019, so the links are definitely there.

The Speedmaster Diver 300 dropped in 1993, the same year that the brand began its official partnership with James Bond. With 300 meters of water resistance, a diving bezel, and a helium escape valve (to release built-up helium pressure underwater), it’s hardy enough to handle any kind of secret-agent action while still looking sick with a tuxedo.

Last November, Craig pulled up to Omega’s Planet Omega exhibition in NYC rocking a then-unreleased white dial Speedmaster Professional. While in Paris for this year’s Olympics he wore a silver Seamaster Diver 300, stoking the horological hype flames in the process. And with his latest TBC watch—marking a hat-trick of unreleased Omegas—it doesn’t look like their relationship could get any stronger.

All being said, it’s fair to say Craig likes to surprise us with his watches. At Loewe’s spring-summer 2025 fashion show in Paris, the actor wore a 40mm red gold Speedmaster. It hadn’t been seen since the 2020 Golden Globes, fresh off the back of his final scenes as Bond. Even when he was on his way to the Queer photocall at Venice Film Festival this year, Craig swapped out the titanium bracelet on his Seamaster 300 for a NATO strap, adding some world-saving style points.

But now, with the post-Bond bangs in full form and the rebrand in full effect, rocking a ticker with ties to 007 and a full tux shows Daniel Craig’s secret agent sauce hasn’t left him just yet.
