What The Online Learning Report Reveals About L&D’s Impact
We don’t want to spoil too much, but one of the most interesting stats uncovered during this survey is that 75% of learners can see the impact of their L&D team’s work. 69% of the US participants even stated that online training provided by their employer was what helped them master a new skill that tied into job performance. This is clear evidence that online learning is no longer about ticking boxes and earning certifications that hold little real-world value. While there’s room for improvement, online training is helping employees upskill and acquire new core competencies. That said, one of the main roadblocks facing organizations today is the skills shortage. So, L&D professionals must be able to tap into internal SME know-how, among other things, to cultivate talents.
