Nine’s Kendall Bora sells off Sydney apartment following move to LA

Bora purchased the one-bedroom apartment in the Piccadilly Gardens complex on Fullerton Street back in 2017 for $675,000 — four years before marrying former Weekend Sunrise co-presenter Matt Doran.

The 35sqm unit has now changed hands for $795,000 through Sydney Sotheby’s agent Sam Towndrow, reflecting a compound annual growth rate of just over 2 per cent.

Located on Level 5, the apartment features treescape views to the Harbour Bridge, a north-facing aspect, and renovated interiors.

Highlights include a custom window seat in the bedroom, a Smeg kitchen, and a covered car space, all within a landmark building known for its manicured gardens, resort-style pool, and visitor parking.

Real Estate.com.au noted that the couple, along with their Italian greyhound Murphy, recently made headlines for posting an Instagram video reviewing American fast-food snacks shortly after landing in the US.

Back home, Bora and Doran have also listed their Berowra Waters weekender with price hopes around $3 million.

Known as Sunny Corner Cottage, the four-bedroom riverfront property was purchased for $1.75 million in 2021 and later redesigned by Tamsin Johnson.

The home had also operated as a $1200-a-night Airbnb before hitting the market.

Doran, who spent five years at Weekend Sunrise, sold his Bellevue Hill apartment in 2023 for $2.15 million, after a high-end redesign by Dylan Farrell.

He had originally purchased the property in 2017 for $1.385 million from industry colleagues Alex Hart and Laura Jayes.
